How to Create a Registry at The Home Place

Follow the simple steps below to create a wedding or baby registry:
1.

Visit Our Store

Meet with one of our trained sales associates to set up your registry. No appointment necessary and free of charge!
2.

Create Your Registry

Make selections from The Home Place and/or Ace Hardware. A table will be set up in our store with your registry items. We will also have your registry listed online.
3.

Notify Your Guests

Proper etiquette dictates that someone other than the registrant notify guests of the registry. More tips are available here.
4.

Guests Make Purchases

The Home Place is proud to offer superior customer service regarding the purchase of items on your registry. Your guests can contact us via phone to purchase items on your registry or visit us in person. Gift wrapping is offered to your guests, free of charge.
5.

Thank You Cards to Your Guests

On request, The Home Place will provide you with a list of your registry items with the individuals who purchased each gift. We also attach a card with your guests name on the back with items listed. This will ensure that no gift goes unnoticed! (Note: It is proper etiquette to send thank you cards no later than 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding, but better late than never!)

We can feature your registry table on our Facebook Page if you are following us, so you can share with friends & family.
If you wish to buy any leftover items after your registry is closed: We keep a list of all unpurchased items.
