How to Create a Registry at The Home Place

Follow the simple steps below to create a wedding or baby registry

1. Visit Our Store
   Meet with one of our trained sales associates 2-4 months prior to the wedding or birth View map and directions here.
   
   
2. Create Your Registry
   Our sales associates will assist you in creating your registry. A table will be set up in our store with your registry items. (Note: Depending on the individual, it can take 1-3 hours, or more, to create your registry.)
   
   
3. Notify Your Guests
   

   Proper etiquette dictates that someone other than the registrant notify guests of the registry. More tips available here.

   
   
4. Guests Make Purchases
   The Home Place is proud to offer superior customer service regarding the purchase of items on your registry. Your guests can contact us via phone to purchase items on your registry or visit us in person. Gift wrapping is available.

   The Home Place accepts Discover, Visa, and MasterCard.

   
   
   
5. Thank You Cards to Your Guests
   On request, The Home Place will provide you with a list of your registry items with the individuals who purchased each gift. This will ensure that no gift goes unnoticed! (Note: It is proper etiquette to send thank you cards no later than 6-8 weeks after your wedding, but better late than never!)
   
   
6. Purchase Remaining Registry Items
   If you did not receive all items on your registry, you may purchase any remaining items. The Home Place will keep your registry on file so you can refer to it at any time.
